Supplier Terms & Operational Agreement
Rentrees operates a managed device subscription ecosystem where supplier devices are integrated into a structured operational environment. Within this system, Rentrees functions as the operational manager, fulfillment controller, customer-facing rental operator, billing collection operator, and lifecycle governance provider. Suppliers participating in the platform acknowledge that they are not directly contracting with end customers, as all customer-facing operations are managed by Rentrees.
To participate as a supplier, individuals or entities must provide accurate identity and payout information, ensure legal ownership or control of all submitted devices, and confirm that devices are not blacklisted, stolen, restricted, or otherwise ineligible for circulation. Suppliers must also agree to Rentrees’ operational governance framework. Rentrees reserves the right to reject any supplier onboarding application or device submission at its sole discretion.
All supplier devices are subject to an inspection and operational review process before acceptance into the rental ecosystem. This process may include functional testing, cosmetic assessment, battery evaluation, operational diagnostics, and the collection of supporting photo or video evidence. Submission of a device does not guarantee acceptance, as devices may be accepted, require repair, or be rejected based on operational standards.
In cases where a device does not meet acceptance criteria, Rentrees may issue a repair proposal outlining recommended actions, estimated costs, and operational improvement suggestions. Suppliers may choose to accept the repair proposal, reject it, or withdraw their submission. Acceptance of repairs does not guarantee that the device will be approved for rental circulation.
Supplier agreements become active only after a device has successfully passed operational acceptance, all required agreements have been signed, and the device has entered active rental circulation. Supplier payout begins only once the device is successfully rented out. Payout timing is structured as the renter’s due date plus seven days. No payout is generated while a device is idle, awaiting rental, under repair, or suspended from circulation.
Payouts may be temporarily suspended under certain conditions, including customer payment delinquency, operational disputes, fraud investigations, or uncertainty regarding device status. Any suspended payouts may resume once the relevant operational issues are resolved.
Suppliers retain ownership of their devices unless a buyout, sale, or formal transfer agreement is executed. However, during active participation in the platform, Rentrees maintains full operational governance and rental management rights over the device lifecycle.
Suppliers may access visibility into device status, including operational condition, payout progress, inspection outcomes, repair updates, and rental activity. However, suppliers will not have access to renter identity, personal data, billing details, contact information, or contractual agreements, as these remain strictly confidential within the Rentrees ecosystem.
Device withdrawal requests may only be made when a device is not under an active rental contract and all operational obligations have been fulfilled. Rentrees reserves the right to apply administrative or logistics fees and may reject withdrawal requests if operational requirements are still in progress.
In the event a device is lost, stolen, or becomes unrecoverable, Rentrees may initiate recovery procedures, customer settlement actions, or insurance-related evaluations where applicable. Supplier compensation, if relevant, will be subject to final operational settlement outcomes.
If a customer opts to purchase a device through a buyout arrangement, supplier settlement will be calculated based on agreed operational formulas, while Rentrees may retain service-related or operational components of the final value. Device retirement decisions are made based on operational suitability, and Rentrees may return, purchase, or recommend repair for affected devices.
All supplier devices operate under Rentrees’ governance framework, which may include Mobile Device Management (MDM), lifecycle controls, operational restrictions, and recovery mechanisms. These controls are implemented strictly for asset protection, lifecycle management, and operational compliance, and are not used for monitoring personal user content.
While Rentrees implements structured governance, billing systems, fulfillment management, and recovery processes, the platform does not guarantee uninterrupted rental utilization, continuous payout generation, or immunity from customer default or operational risk events.
By participating in the Rentrees supplier program, suppliers acknowledge and accept that their devices will be managed under a governed operational lifecycle, including structured fulfillment processes, payout schedules, inspection requirements, decision workflows, and MDM governance controls as part of the platform’s managed ecosystem.
